Neil Flanzraich Director Neil Flanzraich has served as one of Continucare's directors since March 2002. From May 1998 through February 2006 Mr. Flanzraich served as the Vice Chairman and President of IVAX Corporation. He retired from IVAX following its acquisition by Teva Pharmaceuticals in January 2006. Mr. Flanzraich served as Chairman of the Life Sciences Legal Practices Croup of Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe, a law firm, from 1995 to 1998. From 1981 to 1995 Mr. Flanzraich served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and as a member of the Corporate Executive Committee of Syntex Corporation, an international pharmaceutical company which was acquired by Roche Holder Ltd. In 1994. Mr. Flanzraich was Chairman of the Board of Directors of North American Vaccine, inc. from 1989 to 2000 when it was acquired by Baxter International, Inc. Mr. Flanzraich also currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Equity One, Inc. (real estate), Javelin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (pharmaceuticals), Neurochem Inc. (biotech) and RAE Systems, Inc. (gas detection and security monitoring). |
