Continucare Corporation Wins Prestigious Good to Great Award Presented by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce

Continucare to Participate in the Tampa Walk to End Alzheimer's
Walk to End Alzheimer's is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support
and research. Since 1989, this all age, all-ability walk has mobilized millions to join the fight
against Alzheimer's disease, raising more than $347 million for the cause. Events are held annually in the fall in nearly 600 communities nationwide.
All Walk to End Alzheimer's donations benefit the Alzheimer's Association, the leading voluntary
health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research. The mission of the Alzheimer's
Association is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to
provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia
through the promotion of brain health.
The Continucare Administrator of the Quarter Award is given periodically to Continucare Administrators based on criteria that
includes providing exceptional service to patients, showing a deep understanding and respect for patient needs, fostering an environment of teamwork and collaboration amongst our staff and receiving consistently high medical center
satisfaction scores. The current winner of this award is Zoraida De Armas, Administrator at the Continucare Medical Center at Westchester
Humana recognizes four Continucare Medical Centers as winners of their prestigious "Humana Five Star Award"
We are proud to announce that four Continucare Medical Centers have received this award: Continucare Kendall, Continucare Tamarac, Continucare Davie and Continucare Sunrise.
This award is presented to Humana affiliated medical centers which have exemplified excellence in care. Humana surveys the
patients of those medical centers on their satisfaction with their primary care, service and medical care treatment.
The results are then carefully analyzed with the highest scoring medical centers being the recipients of this award.

Our Continucare walk-in centers are a convenient
and affordable alternative to traditional healthcare
providers. Located within select medical centers
throughout Miami-Dade County, we treat illnesses
such as the flu, strep throat, pink eye, skin infections
and seasonal allergies, in a quick, convenient, and
patient-friendly setting. We also offer other high-
demand seasonal healthcare services such as school
and sports physicals and vaccinations.
